Ricky Dean, 59, of Slygo, died January 14, 2018, surrounded by family. He was a graduate of Dade County High School where he excelled at baseball. He was an avid hunter, fisherman and golfer. He was also a loving and devoted husband and stepfather who loved canoeing down Lookout Creek with his wife, Mitzi.
He will be missed dearly by Mitzi Dean, mother, Patsy Bennett, father, James Dean, brother, Mark Dean, sister-in-law, Sherry Dean, nephews, Dakota, Hunter and Noah Dean, and stepsons Beau Mogle and Tom Benson.
Visitation will be at Willdwood United Methodist Church 2-4 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 20, with a service to follow. The Reverend Billy Joe Conner will be officiating.
