DeKalb Arrests Three Spences for Car Theft

On Monday, the DeKalb County (Ala.) Sheriff’s Office took a report of a vehicle stolen from a car lot in the Kilpatrick area. An investigation was opened and within a day investigators received leads that took them to a suspect’s residence in Albertville.



Once investigators arrived at the residence, they learned that the vehicle had been scrapped at a scrapyard in Albertville. As a result, Marty Spence (above), 54, Randy Spence (right), 32, and Jonathan Spence (below), 29, all of Albertville, were arrested and charged with receiving ​​stolen property 3rd, marijuana 2nd and Illegal possession of alcohol. Randy Spence was also charged with theft of property 1st.

DeKalb Sheriff Jimmy Harris commented: “Thanks to the investigators for working so diligently on this case and being able to close the case within a day.”
