The Dade County Sheriff's Department reported it had booked Maksimilian Averyonovich Bazelyuk on Friday for a variety of serious charges in a hit-and-run incident.

The department's daily "Judge's Report" issued on Monday listed charges against Bazelyuk including "Hit and Run; Duty of Driver to Stop or Return to Scene of Accident"; "Serious Injury by Vehicle"; and "DUI-Driving under the Influence of Alcohol," as well as a laundry list of traffic offenses included driving recklessly, driving too fast for conditions, improper lane change, passing on the shoulder and defective tires.

The report listed a bail of $10,000 having been set, but not yet posted, so Bazelyuk is presumably still being held at the county jail.

But the Dade County Sheriff's Department was initially unable to provide additional details on Monday morning. The Planet will report such as they become available.
