Library News: Families: Improve Your Child's Reading With Free Prime Time Program at the Library



Our Ready-to-Read Program on Thursday, February 9, is “Will You Be My Valentine?” Join us at 10:30 a.m. for story time and crafts.

Wednesday, February 15, is Family Movie Day. The movie will begin about 3:15 p.m. Free popcorn and water are provided as well.

We will be taping Living History all through the month of February. We invite all who have stories to tell about people and events in Dade County to come by and let us record your story. Call (706) 657-7857 or just drop by.

We do have some tax forms and booklets available at the library: 1040, 1040A and 104EZ.

Prime Time Family Reading Time returns to the Dade County Public Library! This is a FREE family reading program for families with children 6 and older who might need to improve their reading skills. Leaders will read stories and lead discussions. A meal will be served before each session and children will receive free books. Prime Time will meet on Thursdays from 5:30-7 p.m. beginning March 2 and running through April 13, skipping March 30. Call (706) 657-7857 to sign up.

Want to learn how to make an apron? The library will have a sewing class on Saturday, February 11, from 10 a.m.-noon. We will have all the supplies and the know-how. We only have 10 slots available, so call and register at 657-7857.
