DeKalb County Sheriff Jimmy Harris is proud to announce the graduation of Seth Cagle and David Stanley from the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Academy.

The graduation was this Sunday, April 9, at the Birmingham-Jefferson Civic Center. The Academy is a 14-month, every-other-weekend commitment. It takes a lot of time and dedication to complete. This class, a total of 27 students graduated from the Academy. Among those were 14 from sheriffs’ offices and 13 from police department, from all over the state of Alabama.

“I want to congratulate Deputies Cagle and Stanley,” said Sheriff Harris. “I know they will do an outstanding job for the citizens of our county.”
