Lucky Charms (Not): Dade Sheriff Reports Weekend Drug Arrests



Dade County Sheriff Ray Cross recently released the following law-and-order news:

A Dade County deputy noticed a wanted subject, Jamey Ray Shrader, 45, of Chattanooga, on Highway 301 South on Friday, July 7. Shrader had warrants outstanding with the U.S. Marshal's office and was also out on bond from an arrest in Dade County that had occurred on June 25.

During the investigation, Shrader was found to have in his possession methamphetamine, Ecstasy (which favors Lucky Charms cereal marshmallows), syringes, digital scales, clear plastic baggies and approximately $4800 in cash. The vehicle was impounded and Shrader was arrested and charged with possession of drug-related objects, possession of methamphetamine, possession of a Schedule I controlled substance, possession of methamphetamine with intent to distribute, possession of drugs by an inmate, tampering with evidence-felony, and probation violation. Shrader remains in the Dade County jail.

Dade County Sheriff Ray Cross released the following law-enforcement news:

On Saturday, July 8, at approximately 12:30 am., a Dade County sergeant observed Cathy A. Parker, 63, of Rising Fawn, failing to maintain her lane of travel on I-59 South at exit 11. The sergeant conducted a traffic stop and found Ms. Parker to be driving under the influence of drugs. She also had in her possession both Schedule II and Schedule IV controlled substances including marijuana. She was arrested and taken to the Dade County jail. She has since posted bond.

Sheriff Cross and his officers continue their fight against drugs and crime in Dade County.
