On Friday, Aug. 4, around noon, Dade County Deputy Summer Raley conducted a traffic stop of a motor vehicle on Court Street. As a result of the traffic stop, the female driver, Kimberly Austin-Crowe, 52, of Elizabethton, Tenn., was arrested on drug charges.

Just under 10 grams of methamphetamine, cocaine, drug paraphernalia and prescription pills were seized as evidence. The driver was booked into the Dade County Jail.

Dade Sheriff Ray Cross and his deputies continue to deliver on their promise to get as many illegal drugs and drug offenders off the street as they possibly can.
