On Thursday, Aug. 24, the DeKalb County (Ala.) Sheriff’s Office received a grand jury indictment for murder against Jason Lee Loudermilk, 31, of Sylvania, in connection with the Kenneth DeWayne Shaw murder case in November of 2015.

Loudermilk was in jail in Jackson County, Ala., on unrelated charges when the DeKalb County Sheriff’s Office received the indictment. A DeKalb County Deputy transported Loudermilk from the Jackson County jail to the DeKalb County Detention Center.

Sheriff Harris says “Because this is a Grand Jury indictment, we do not have any further information on this case.”

Kenneth Shaw, 48, was found shot to death in his front yard in Henagar, Ala., nearly two years ago. Police have arrested multiple other suspects in the case since then.
