Pickin' & Pork in the Park Prodigious Party for Perfect Price (0) -- Participate!

Partial to piquant provender and pleasant palaver with your peeps, but prefer picnicking in proximity to your particular precinct? Please participate in Pickin' & Pork in the Park! Permit The Planet to provide the particulars (providentially pausing with the P's):

Grace Community Church proudly presents (sorry, it slipped out) its fourth annual free community event, Pickin' & Pork in the Park, this Saturday at Jenkins Park. All are invited to this outdoor barbecue, with entertainment provided by none other than Dade's favorite bluegrass pickers, The Dade County Boys. Festivities start at 5 p.m. and there is no cost for food or fun.

Grace Community volunteers stage this event every year as part of their ongoing outreach to the people of Dade and because, they say, they just like to feed the community. "It's a way for us to give a gift to the community," said Hutch Garmany, the church's pastor. "That's why we like to make sure that everything is free."

Grace specializes in providing a "church home" to the "unchurched," explains Garmany. Grace itself does not have a church building but meets in the old Handyman Salvage storefront at 4355 Highway 136 West.

Piqued? Please present punctually at the park and partake!
