Library News: Still Have a VCR? VHS Tapes $1

I'm back on the job after spending two weeks with my husband on a Western adventure. We visited or went through 13 states and three Canadian provinces. It was a great trip, but it’s good to be home.

The month of September is Library Card Sign-Up Month. Come in and get a new card or update your card and we will give you a ticket to be entered in a drawing for some cool prizes.

The Book Club will meet on Tuesday, Sept. 19, at 7 p.m. at the library to discuss A Man Called Ove by Fredrick Backman. I read it several months ago and it’s a great book. Anyone is welcome to join us.

We will have a Family Movie at the library on Thursday, Sept. 14, at 3:30 p.m. Put it on your calendar. We provide free popcorn and water while you watch.

This month’s Ready-to-Read theme is Camp Out with a Good Book. Join us for story time, crafts, and more for preschool children. Ready-to-Read is every Thursday from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m.

Do you still have a VCR? We’re gradually getting rid of our VHS tapes here at the library to make room for newer technology. We have some VHS tapes for sale for $1 each. We also have some used books for sale at deep discount.
