The Dade County Sheriff’s Office confirmed on Monday that the 89-year-old woman who died in a trailer fire earlier on Saturday was Virginia Webb. The fire was at the Templeton Trailer Park on Highway 299 in Wildwood.
Another resident of the home sustained second-degree burns, but the injuries were not life-threatening and the individual was transported to the hospital for treatment. The fire has been determined to be accidental.
DCSO Information officer Sgt. Chad Payne said the office may issue a fuller report later.
