Sgt. Chad's Weekly Crime Roundup

These are arrests reported by Sgt. Chad Payne, information officer for the Dade County Sheriff's Office.

On Oct. 24, at approximately midnight, Dade County deputies observed a vehicle traveling in the 3500 block of Interstate 24. A traffic stop was conducted on the vehicle, and the driver, April M. Wakeman (right), 36, of Cleveland, Tenn., was arrested for possession of ​​methamphetamine, driving with a suspended license and improper lane change.

On Oct. 19, at approximately 12:45 a.m., a vehicle was observed traveling in the 3000 Block of Interstate 24. A traffic stop was conducted on the ​​vehicle, and it was found that the driver was in possession

of methamphetamine and several drug-related objects. Anthony Dwight Maxwell (left), 40, of Whitwell, Tenn., was charged with possession of methamphetamine and possession of drug-related objects.
