[Editor's Note: Further inquiry to the Dade Sheriff's Office yielded the details that the "hit and run" in question in this arrest was a lineman's school student striking a state road sign and driving away from the scene without reporting the accident, leaving, however, his license plate behind, through which he was easily traced. There were no injuries. The student said he had hit the sign while swerving to avoid a deer.]
