The DeKalb County (Ala.) Sheriff's Office is urgently seeking an escaped inmate.
At approximately 11:45 a.m. CST today, Christopher Daniel Jones, 28, of Rainsville, Ala., was on work release in the area of Sylvania at FG Lumber Inc., where he has been employed since Nov. 3, when he walked off his work detail.
Jones was in jail on charges of receiving stolen property
1st and failure to appear.
Jones is 6 feet tall, about 135 pounds, with brown hair and green eyes.
DeKalb Sheriff Jimmy Harris asks that anyone who sees Jones or knows of his whereabouts call his office at (256) 845-3801.
