The DeKalb County Sheriff's Office has just announced that it has recaptured a convict who walked off his work-release jobsite earlier today.
"At the time of 3:22 [CST] Christopher Daniel Jones has been located on County Road 683 in the Sylvania area and is being transported to the DeKalb County Detention Center," read a release from the office of Sheriff Jimmy Harris. "Charges are pending."
DeKalb deputies located Jones, 28, who had been serving time for receiving stolen property, added a subsequent release.
