Due to expected winter weather, Dade Schools Superintendent Jan Harris has closed all county schools for Tuesday, Jan. 16. All after-school activities for Tuesday are also canceled.
Dr. Harris says conditions may also be bad enough to cancel classes again on Wednesday but she's not making that call yet. "We'll just watch the weather and see," she said.
Snow showers are predicted for Tuesday, and temperatures are not projected to get above freezing either Tuesday or Wednesday.
