Thursday, February 15, is Family Movie Day! Our feature will begin at 3:30 p.m., and we’ll have free water and popcorn. Call the library at (706) 657-7857 to find out what the movie is.
The Book Club will meet on Tuesday, February 20, at 7 p.m. We will be discussing a nonfiction book, The Other Wes Moore, by Wes Moore. Two boys with the same name are born within blocks of each other, but their lives take starkly different paths.
We will have another Beginner’s Computer Class at the library on Tuesday, February 27. There will be one session at 10 a.m. and another at 6 p.m. Call the library to sign up at (706) 657-7857. If you came to last month’s class, we will pick up from there. If it’s your very first time, that’s OK, too.
We’re still offering Blind Dates with a book. Check one out, take it home and give it a try. You might find a new favorite author.
The Friends of the Library are having a Membership Drive during the month of February. Forms are available at the library and membership is $10 a year. Come and help out with projects if you can, or just help out by paying your dues.
