On Tuesday, April 3, DeKalb County (Ala.) investigators looked into an alleged assault in the DeKalb County Jail. The complainant and suspect were both inmates there. As a result of the investigation, Christopher Robin Eason, 31, of Rainsville, was charged with attempted murder. Eason is being held in the DeKalb County jail on a $500,000 bond. The victim in this case was treated and released by medical personnel with no significant injury.
On Wednesday, April 4, Ryan Thomas Ogle, 31, also of Rainsville, was arrested on a charge of sodomy 1st. This charge resulted from an ongoing investigation that started two months ago involving a victim less than 12 years old. Ogle is currently being held in the DeKalb County Jail on a $100,000 bond with more charges pending.
On Thursday, April 5, after an investigation, Keli Brooke Wilson, 32, of Fyffe, Ala., was arrested and charged with illegal use of credit/debit card and theft of property 2nd.
