The book selection for the May Book Club meeting is The Handmaid’s Tale by Margaret Atwood. This is a fictional account of a totalitarian society controlled by a fundamentalist regime where women are treated as property of the state. The Book Club meets on the third Tuesday of the month, which will be Tuesday, May 15, at 7 p.m. Everyone is welcome.
