Library News: Come Get Your Quilts! And Maybe Bring Us Some DVDs...

We have found three quilts here at the library, and we don’t know who they belong to. We had quilters working here for a long time, but they did not recognize them. One is an older quilt, and the other two are newer looking. We wondered if the older one might have been left for the quilters to repair. If they belong to you, please come by and get them.

Registration for Summer Reading is going on at this time. Go to chrl.org and look for the Summer Reading icon to sign your kids up, and then come by the library to pick up the bag with their reading log and activity sheets.

There will be a family movie at the library on Thursday, May 17, at 3:30 p.m. Call the library at (706) 657-7857 to get the title.

There will be a beginning computer class at the library on Tuesday, May 22, with two sessions, one at 10 a.m. and one at 6 p.m. Please call the library at (706) 657-7857 to sign up so we will know how many people to prepare for. The class is free.

The library doesn’t get a lot of money for DVDs, so we depend a lot on donations. If you have any DVDs you are finished with, consider donating them. We no longer take VHS tapes.
