DeKalb Inmate On The Lam: Walks Off Work Detail

​The DeKalb County (Ala.) Sheriff’s Office alerts the community to be on the lookout for Keith Amos Clark, 43, of Tracy City, Tennessee.

Clark has been in the DeKalb County Detention Center for 64 days and has been on work crew detail. Today, Tuesday, May 29, while working at the Agricultural Center in Rainsville with eight other inmates, Clark walked off his work detail.

Clark has no history of violent crimes and is not expected to be armed.

DeKalb County Sheriff Jimmy Harris urges citizens to be on the alert for Clark but warns against trying to make contact with him. Call the Sheriff’s Office (256-845-3801), 911 or your local police department, says Sheriff Harris.
