That's a line from an old movie, and perhaps some people would consider the very notion of a phonebook old-fashioned. But Trenton is a town that treasures some of its old-fashioned traditions, and Trenton Telephone Company still has a photography contest each year for its phonebook cover.
This year, TTC is proud to announce the winner is Holly Gross for her "pondscape with dog on boulder" pic.
In addition to the honor of having her photo on the cover of the 2018 phonebook, Ms. Gross received a $100 gift card as her prize.
Emily Drouillard of Trenton Telephone
reported that 12 people submitted photographs this year. She also said customers should be receiving their copy of the new phonebook in the mail soon.
