Crazy 8's Math Club is Back!

As school is well under way, we are picking back up with some of our regular activities that we aren’t able to do during the summer because of our big Summer Reading program.

Of course, our Ready to Read classes are going again for preschool children and they still meet on Thursdays at 10:30 a.m. Our monthly computer classes have resumed and our next one will be on Tuesday, Sept. 11 at 5:30 p.m. It is the second installment of the class we had in August.

Our Teen Advisory Board will have its September meeting on Tuesday, Sept. 18 from 4-6 p.m. Family Movie Night for September will be on Thursday, Sept. 13 at 4 p.m. You can call the library for the title, and free popcorn and water are served.

Another very successful program we’ve had before is back. Beginning Tuesday, Sept. 25, we will have Crazy 8’s Math Club again. Come to our after-school math program that will begin at 4:15 p.m. on Sept. 25 for grades K-2. Grades 3-5 will meet on Thursdays at 4:15 p.m. The classes last about 45 minutes and will continue for eight weeks.

Remember that September is National Library Card Sign-up Month. If you renew or register for a library card, you will be entered in our prize drawing.

If you have a library card, but have not signed up for our Ebook service, RBDigital, just come by the library, get a password, and we will help you get signed up. If you don’t have a library card, we can help you with that as well.
