The Georgia State Patrol has identified the motorcyclist killed Saturday night on I-24 in Wildwood as Troy Gravitt, 31, of Whitwell, Tenn.
GSP's Sgt. Chris Harris said no other vehicles were involved in the accident, that witnesses observed the victim's 2008 Harley Davidson motorcycle begin to wobble and then seem to go out of control around mile marker 4, shortly after Gravitt had crossed into Georgia in the westbound lanes of the highway. Gravitt was ejected from the bike and pronounced dead at the scene.
The accident happened around 11:30 p.m., said the sergeant.
