Sgt. Chad Payne is information officer for the Dade County Sheriff's Office.
On Oct. 22, at approximately 10 p.m., Dade County deputies were dispatched to the B-Mart on Highway 301 North in reference to a female creating a disturbance.
Deputies arrived on scene and located the female. During the incident, it was found that the female suspect was under the influence of alcohol and was also in possession of scheduled medications.
The suspect, Spring L. Daniel, 36, of Trenton, was transported to the jail where she was booked and released on bond. she was charged with:
Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol
Public Drunkenness
Possession of a Schedule 2
Possession of a Schedule 4
Drugs to be Kept in Original Container.
