Ornament Sale Update: We have a very few Trenton Methodist Church Ornaments still available at the library for $15. We have a couple of Sitton's Mill ornaments left, and some of the courthouse, also for $15. We have several of the Dyer Mercantile Building (currently Gross Furniture) and we are marking them down to $10. ONLY $10 FOR DYER MERCANTILE ORNAMENT, while supplies last.

We are very excited about our Grand Illumination on Saturday, Dec. 8, right after Trenton’s annual Christmas parade. Come out and watch the parade, and stay around to see the lights afterward. The "Grand Illumination" will be at the library and in Veterans Park on the square. Our friends at Krystal will be providing hot chocolate for those watching and there will also be caroling in the park led by Carey Anderson.
On Thursdays in December, we will have holiday activities and stories at our Ready-to-Read classes on Thursdays at 10:30 a.m.
Would you like to have your child’s picture made with Santa Claus? Santa will be with us at the library on Tuesday, Dec. 11, when we will host Polar Express Night from 5-7 p.m. at the library. We will be showing a holiday movie and there will be activities and crafts as well. Children can have their picture made with Santa Claus and get one free picture printed. You can make your own pictures as well with your phone or camera. Our local McDonald’s will provide coffee and hot chocolate for our guests. It will be a great night for a family outing.
Have some extra time during the holidays? Come by and let us set up a free account with RB Digital. Using your library card to access the account, patrons can check out ebooks and magazines without even coming into the building. Books can be checked out for two weeks on your electronic device, your e-reader, tablet, computer, or even your phone. They can be rechecked or they will just disappear from your device when the time is up. It’s another free service of your library for those who have an up-to-date library card.
By the way, if you find you cannot access your RB Digital account, it might be that you need to renew your library card. Cards expire every two years so that we can check your contact information and make sure it is up to date. Renewal is FREE, but if you have fines on your account, they will have to be cleared to renew your card.
