At approximately midnight Sunday night, a Dade County deputy observed a vehicle with no tag lights traveling on Highway 299. Upon initiation of a traffic stop, the vehicle fled and came to a stop on the parking lot of the Pilot gas station on Highway 299.
When the vehicle came to a stop, all three occupants exited the vehicle and ran. Deputies were able to take a male and a female into custody, but the driver got away. The driver was later identified, and warrants will be taken.
