The Dade University of Georgia Extension Office will host a Dade & Walker Fruit Tree Field Day from 10 a.m.-3 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 27, at its location in the Ag Building in front of Dade Middle School off Highway 137 West. Morning Lecture topics include Recommended Varieties, Site Considerations and
Disease and Insect Management. Afternoon sessions will be hands-on and demonstrations of pruning, planting, training, tools and spray equipment.
Afternoon topics will be in the field, so dress for conditions. Deadline to register is Monday, Feb. 25, by noon, and registration is limited to the first 25 participants!
