Trenton PD Busts Underwood for 5 Grams Meth

Around 1:40 a.m. this morning, Eddy Underwood Jr., 51, of Henagar, Ala., was arrested during a traffic stop conducted by Trenton K9 Officer Eric Hartline. He was charged with possession of methamphetamine, possession of a Schedule I or II controlled substance with intent to distribute, possession of a Schedule II controlled substance, possession of a Schedule IV controlled substance, driving while license suspended or revoked, and no insurance.

Underwood was found to be in possession of over five grams of crystal methamphetamine along with other drugs and drug related objects.

"This is why our officers work our interstates," Police Chief Christy Smith posted on the Trenton Police Department's Facebook page. "These drugs will be destroyed, not distributed! Great Job Officer Hartline and Ivo!"
