Teen Book Club Meets Second Tuesday

Our Book Club met last week and, in spite of the unpleasant weather, we had eleven brave souls come out to discuss Magpie Murders. If you want to join us in March, we will meet on the third Tuesday at 7 p.m. at the library to discuss The Princess Bride by William Goldman. Most of us have seen the classic movie, but many, including myself haven’t read the book, so we’re going to see what we’ve missed.

A full list of the books we will be reading and discussing is available at the library. Join us.

The newly formed Teen Book Club meets on the second Tuesday of each month and the book they will be reading for March is One of Us is Lying by Karen McManus. They will meet on March 12.

Tax forms are still available at the library, but we just have the basic ones, Federal Form 1040 and the instructions and Georgia forms 500 and 500EZ.

Ready-to-Read for preschool children still begins at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday mornings. Bring your littles for story reading and crafts.

Looking ahead, the date for the annual Read to Lead event is March 23. Mark your calendars and look for more information on this later.

We still have a used book sale going on at the library. Come by and get some bargains.
