On Wednesday, Feb. 27, at approximately 3:30 p.m., Dade County deputies were dispatched to an address on Porter Road in reference to a vehicle being "cut up." When the deputies arrived on scene, they were advised that two subjects, Steven Wooten and Charles Gass, had been seen running from the property just prior to their arrival.
Upon further investigation, the deputies located and recovered two stolen vehicles, as well as a stolen camper and several cutting tools and torches.
Another subject, Jeremiah Dalton, 38, of Flat Rock, Ala., was arrested on scene for a warrant out from the Trenton Police Department and for giving officers a false name and/or date of birth. He is currently in custody.
The deputies obtained a search warrant for the residence on the property, where an illegal firearm and illegal drugs were also recovered.
Warrants were also obtained for the two subjects who had been seen running from the residence. One of those, Charles A. Gass, 36, of Trenton, was taken into custody on March 4. He was charged with
