Festival of Life Raises $15K for Local Patients

Cindy Cross shows off a cake being auctioned off at last Saturday's Dade Festival of Life. She and co-organizer Diane Rumley reported they'd had a good turnout at the annual do despite the discouragement of rain showers in the earlier part of the day. Ms. Rumley estimated this year's FOL had raised a little over $15,000.
The Festival of Life is Dade's own homespun benefit for local people suffering from serious illnesses.
