On April 20, at approximately noon, a Dade County deputy observed a vehicle traveling north on South Main Street in the city of Trenton. The deputy observed that the driver was not properly wearing his seat belt, and initiated a traffic stop.

After approaching the vehicle, the deputy spoke with the driver and passenger and discovered probable cause to conduct a vehicle search. After conducting the vehicle search, deputies located a substance that field tested positive for Ecstasy, marijuana and a firearm. The driver and passenger were taken in to custody and transported to the Dade County Jail for booking.
