Super Says New Football Coach To Be Recommended Today

The Dade County Board of Education will hold a special called meeting at 5 p.m. today in its offices in front of Dade High School on Highway 136 East. The only real item of business on the agenda is personnel, and Dr. Jan Harris, superintendent of schools, said by text Monday morning that she expects to recommend a candidate to the board for head football coach at the high school.

The board has been looking for a replacement of Coach Brad Warren, who is leaving Dade this year for a position elsewhere, since he announced his retirement in April.
