Early Voting Starts for Trenton City Election

Early voting has begun for the Nov. 5 Trenton city election. Up for grabs is the fire/utility city commission seat, and Lucretia Houts, Cody Doyle and Careyee Bell (pictured here in that order) are all running for it. Two other city seats are up for reelection this year, but Mayor Alex Case and Streets Commissioner Monda Wooten are both running unopposed.

Early voting hours are 8 a.m.-5 p.m. Monday through Thursday, 8 a.m.-2 p.m. Fri., through Nov. 1. On Election Day, Nov. 5, polls are open 7 a.m.-7 p.m. All city voting is now at the Dade Administrative Building.

Tonight, Tuesday, Oct. 16, incidentally, the Trenton City Commission will have its last regularly scheduled meeting before the November election. That's at 6 p.m. at City Ha..
