The Dade County Friends of the Library have their very own national week of celebration. On the week of Oct. 20-26, they will join the national group, “United for Libraries” (a division of the American Library Association) to celebrate the 14th annual National Friends of Libraries Week.
The Friends of the Dade County Library is a support group that helps provide funding for the amazing programs that happen in the library. The Friends group help to provide for additional programming, much-needed equipment, support for children’s summer reading and special events throughout the year.
Be a friend and join them during the month of October as they celebrate with a membership drive. The Friends ask that you help support the library by becoming a member or by renewing your membership. The annual membership fee is $10. Lifetime membership is $100.
Membership applications are available at the desk of the library or you can mail your dues to the library at PO Box 340, Trenton, Georgia.
