Library's "Little Pantry" Offers Food, Snowman Warm Garments.

The Dade County Public Library, along with our local CHI Memorial office, Trenton Family Practice, is offering a new service to the community. On the east side of the library, beside the stairs, you will find our new "Little Pantry." There are non-perishable food items in the pantry for those who have need of them. They are

available 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

Take what you need. If you would like to leave something in the pantry for those in need, leave what you can. Those donating or picking up may stop at the pantry and then drive around and exit on the other side of the library.

The Cloverbuds will meet at the library on Tuesday, December 10, from 5 to 6 p.m. This will be a fun exploratory program with the Dade County 4-H. This program is for kids from PreK to 3rd grade.

Ready-to-Read programs will be about getting ready for the holidays. On December 19 we will be having a party.

On Tuesday, December 17, our Book Club will have our Christmas party and select the books we will read in 2020. Anyone interested is invited. Bring your suggestions for books to read next year and we will be voting on them that evening. We will also enjoy some treats, so bring whatever holiday delicacy you would like to share.

We have a great, friendly-looking snowman outside the library welcoming our patrons to the library. Notice that there are some bags hanging from it. These bags hold winter

gear like gloves and socks. These are for anyone who needs something warm to wear this winter.
