Congratulations to Deputy Michael Howard, for being awarded the LMJDTF (Lookout Mountain Judicial Circuit Drug Task Force) Commander Patrick Doyle Officer of the Year Award, for his heroism during a pursuit.

While Commander Doyle was pursuing two subjects, the vehicle they were driving stopped and the two suspects immediately fled in to the woods. After running for a short distance, the two subjects fell approximately 30 feet off a cliff onto the rocks below. Deputy Howard climbed 30 feet down to the subjects and immediately began to render aid.
This is just one of the many different reasons, that we have the best group of guys and gals around!

Note: The Doyle award was named in honor of Commander Patrick Doyle, who died in 2018 of cancer. Deputy Howard is the award's first recipient.
