Below, reproduced here verbatim, is the Georgia State Patrol report on the accident in Wildwood that shut down Highway 11 this afternoon.
Today at 2:50 p.m., Post 41 Troopers responded to a two-vehicle collision on Georgia 58 near mile marker 19 in Dade County. Based on the investigation into this crash, it was determined a red Mitsubishi 200 traveling northbound crossed the centerline of the roadway and struck a red Dodge Durango traveling south.
The impact was located on the driver’s side of both vehicles. Both drivers were transported to Erlanger Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
The investigation into the cause of the collision is ongoing.
