There is more to check out at the library than books. We have several specialty cake pans that may be checked out and used. We also have three Celestron telescopes that may be checked out. Telescopes may be checked out for one week only, with no renewals.
The Dade County Historical Society will hold a genealogy workshop at the library on Tuesday, March 31, from 6 to 8 p.m. You can access Ancestry.com for free at the library. We will be happy to help you get started.
As most of you know, 2020 is a census year and this year census reporting will be done online. We have a dedicated computer set up, ready and waiting if you want or need to do your census reporting here at the library. See a staff member to direct you to that computer.
The census folks have left some goodies here (above) for folks getting a jump on things and doing their census report early: fans, water bottles, notepads, pens, et cetera. You should get a card in the mail with directions, but it is not necessary to wait for it.
We still have Federal Tax Forms 1040 and 1049 SR available at the library.
