With the whole world seemingly closing up and locking down, it should come as no surprise that the Dade County Sheriff's Office will not be issuing arrest reports today. But this is not due to the coronavirus--the SO's Mary Ann Bradford says the reporting problem is caused by complications of a technological upgrade that the county's 911 boss, Alex Case, has not gotten around to fixing yet.
"He said they moved the problem up ahead of the others we are having but he has no idea when it will be fixed," said Ms. Bradford in an emailed release.
"And it’s not a problem the Sheriff can fix!" she added.
The Planet realizes that the arrest report is a popular weekly read and will duly relay it to the readership as soon as the sheriff's office releases it.
