This is a letter to the editor from Georgia statehouse candidate Vikki Mills claiming endorsement from the Georgia Right to Life PAC. The Georgia Right to Life PAC has no association with the national Right to Life, whose state affiliate is Georgia Life Alliance.
Dear Friends, I have dedicated my whole adult life towards defending the unborn – those most helpless and innocent of all human beings. For over thirty years, I have marched on State Capitols, advocated for the personhood of the developing baby, and worked with pregnancy centers and shelters to take care of women and children in their time of need. When I felt called to run for State Representative, I knew that ending abortion forever would be a centerpiece of my campaign. That is why I am proud to announce that I have received the endorsement of the Georgia Right to Life PAC, a Christian ministry whose mission is to restore respect and effective legal protection for all innocent human life from earliest beginning until a natural death. Georgia Right to Life has tens of thousands of members across the state and has been instrumental in advancing the cause of personhood in order to protect the lives of the unborn. Georgia Right to Life is a valuable ally in the pro-life movement, and one whose support I am honored and grateful to receive. In announcing my endorsement on their Facebook page, they made the following statement:
“With a background in nursing, two decades of activism in the pro-life movement and experience advancing Personhood efforts in other states, Vikki Mills will be a principled, uncompromising voice for life in the state legislature. House District 1 is comprised of Walker and Dade counties. The GRTL Political Action Committee is pleased to endorse Vikki Mills. Vote for life - vote for Vikki Mills in the June 9th primary!”
I am a 100% ‘no compromises’ pro-life candidate and I want to see abortion ABOLISHED in my lifetime. If elected, I will work with GRTL and other leaders in the pro-life movement to advance the cause of life. My friends, we must win this election. Vikki Mills is a pro-life, pro-gun, and pro-business Republican running for the Georgia State House of Representatives for District 1. The district covers all of Dade County and portions of Walker County. The General Primary election will occur on June 9th with Early Voting starting May 18th.
