Connie Marie Smartt, 69, of Trenton, died Friday, July 10, 2020.
Connie didn’t stand out in the family. She was the quiet one smiling in the background in the midst of the chaos and craziness. She was the glue that held the family together.
She was preceded in death by her father, Melvin Neal Hollingsworth; sister, Wilma Tinker; and brother, Tommy Hollingsworth.
Survivors include her husband, Stanley Smartt; son, Jason Smartt; mother, Mildred Hollingsworth; sisters, Peggy Harris and Bonnie Millican; many nieces and nephews, great-nieces and -nephews and great-great-nieces and -nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 4 p.m. EDT on Sunday, June 12, in the Bryant Chapel of Moore Funeral Home with Brother Floyd Kilgore and Brother Bob Dehart officiating. Interment will follow in Oak Lawn Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends on Saturday from 6 until 9 p.m. EDT and also Sunday from 11 a.m. EDT until the service hour.
