TRENTON, Ga.--John Stephen Ellis, 87, died Wednesday, July 25, 2016. He was a man of faith who loved his family and friends.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Stephen and Margaret Ellis; brother, Larry Ellis; and sister, Sharon Hinga.
He is survived by his loving wife of 67 years, Ann Ellis; daughters, Cheryl Campbell, Alaska; Charlene Long, Michigan; son, Charles John Ellis, Tennessee; brother, Donny Lee Ellis, Michigan; three grandchildren, Casey Long, Carrie Long and Marcy Kolb; great-grandchildren Eliana, Avi and Asher Long, and Ezra Kolb.
Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. EDT Wednesday, July 27 at Payne Gap Cemetery, Ider, Ala., with Brother Lonnie Denny officiating.
