Brockie Ridley



RISING FAWN, Ga.-- Brockie Garland Ridley, 83, died Oct. 6, 2016. He was a loving father, grandfather and great-grandfather. Mr. Ridley was a coal miner and was of the Church of God faith.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Verna Ridley; parents, Henry and Molly Ridley; grandson, Little Bobby Gray; and several sisters and brothers.

Survivors include his daughters, Joyce (Bobby) Gray and Merion (Dewight) Blevins; sons, Danny (Joni) Ridley, Roger (Tammy) Ridley and Allan (Lisa) Ridley all of Lookout Mountain; nine grandchildren, Melody, Candice, Tobey, Lynn, Daniel, Savannah, Brook, Amber, and Samantha; several great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews and a host of friends.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 8, in the Trenton chapel of Moore Funeral Home with Minister Chris Bivens officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery.

Visitation will be held Friday 4-8 p.m. and Saturday 10 a.m.-2 p.m.
