BRYANT, Ala.--Carl Edward Garrett, 61, died Oct. 26, 2016. He was a loving father, grandfather and brother. He was of the Baptist faith.
He is preceded in death by his father, Austin “Junior” Garrett.
Eddy is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Chad and Cassie Garrett; mother, Ila Mae Garrett; two grandchildren, Conner and Colby Garrett; sisters, Linda (Ernie) Whited, Bryant, Clarissa (Danny) Fox, South Pittsburg, Tenn.; brother, Austin L. (Pam) Garrett, Chattanooga; five nieces and nephews; several great-nieces and great-nephews.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, Oct. 29, at 2 p.m. EDT in the Bryant chapel of Moore Funeral Home with Brother Wayne Winters officiating. Burial will follow in Straightway Cemetery.
Visitation will be Friday 2-8 p.m. EDT and Saturday 10 a.m.-2 p.m. EDT.
