FLAT ROCK, Ala.--Eric Jay Cornell, 89, died November 10, 2016. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. He was a member of White Oak Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Samuel and Beatrice Cornell; sisters, Elva and Esta, and brother, Earl.
He is survived by his loving wife of 28 years, Mary Cornell; daughters, Debby (Marvin) Cornelison, Kellie Cornell and Marilyn (Rafe) Boatner; sons, Dwight Cornell, Scott (Patti) Cornell and Jack Underwood; seven grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews and a host of friends.
Funeral services will be at noon Tuesday, November 15, in the Trenton chapel of Moore Funeral Home with Brother Lonnie Denny officiating. Burial will follow in Chattanooga National Cemetery.
Visitation will be held Monday 2-8 p.m. and Tuesday 9 a.m.-noon EST.
