Bill Massengale


TRENTON, Ga.--William Woodrow Massengale, 77, died November 16, 2016. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. A lifelong resident of Dade County, he had retired from Wheland Foundry after 42 years. Bill was of the Baptist faith.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Woodrow and Ruby Massengale.

He is survived by his loving wife of 57 years, Wilma Hartline Massengale, whom he married on June 5, 1959; sons, Gary (Mut) and Billy Massengale; grandchildren, Morgan (Casey) Scott, Dakota Massengale and Ivy Massengale; great-grandson, Dawson Scott; sisters, Susie (Junior) Poore, Shirley (David) Hartline and Geneva (Randy) Millholland; nieces, nephews and a host of friends.

Graveside services will be held at noon Saturday, Nov. 19, at Lake Hills Memorial Gardens with Brother Eddie Cantrell officiating.

Visitation will be held Friday 5-8 p.m. and Saturday 10 a.m.-noon EST.
