RISING FAWN, Ga.--Karen Denise Massey, 56, died Sunday, January 15, 2017. She was a member of Lord’s Way Tabernacle and had formerly been employed by Hardee’s.
She was preceded in death by her father, Walter Holland; sister, Faith Holland; and brother, Spencer Holland.
Survivors include her husband, Kenneth Massey Jr.; mother, Barbara Holland Rorex; daughters, Summer (Emory) Warrick, Valdosta, Ga.; Winter (Ryan) Conner, Lookout Mountain, Ga.; and Sheree (Brandon) Dykes, Spring City, Tenn; son, Kenneth (Bridget) Massey III; sisters, Cheryl (Tim) Hampton, Smithville, Tenn.; and Dawn (Russell) Raulston, South Pittsburg, Tenn.; brother, James (Abbey) Holland, Hampton, Tenn.; 12 grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, January 18, at Massey Baptist Church with Pastor John Wells officiating. Burial will follow in Massey Church Cemetery.
Visitation will be at the church from 1 p.m. until the service on Wednesday.
