Evelyn Winters


TRENTON, Ga.--Evelyn M. Winters, 91, of Trenton, formerly of Forest Hill, Md., died on January 21, 2017. She was a member of Rosedale Baptist Church in Baltimore and attended Edgewood Baptist Church in Trenton. Mrs. Winters enjoyed fellowship, social events, scripture searching and attending Super Sixties Bible Conferences.

She is preceded in death by her loving and dedicated husband of 58 years, Earl Albert Winters.

Surviving include her son, Bro. Earl (Mary) Winters; grandchild, Pastor Scott (RuthAnn) Winters of Lexington, S.C., and their child, Mary Beth Winters; grandchild, Pastor Troy (Becky) Winters of Dry Ridge, Ky., and their children Joshua, Matthew and Curtis Winters; grandchild, Dawn (Pastor Ryan) Perry of Blaine, Maine, and their children Grace, Jonathan, Micah, Lyuba, Lydia and Mercy Perry; grandchild, Karen (Pastor Brian) Dempsey of Dillsboro, Ind., and their children, Ian, Olivia and Carson Dempsey; grandchild Michael (Geran) Winters of Jonesville, S.C., and their children, Michael, Rachel, Ruth and David Winters; and several nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held at Edgewood Baptist Church in Trenton on Friday, February 10, at 7 p.m. with her son, Brother Earl Winters, officiating. Edgewood Baptist Church, led by Pastor Jim Lilley, is located at 11041 Highway 11 South, Trenton, GA 30752.

A second memorial service will be held at Upper Cross Roads Baptist Church in Baldwin, Md., on Saturday, February 25, at 11 a.m. with her son, Brother Earl Winters, officiating. Upper Cross Baptist Church (Pastor Robert Condict) is located at 2717 Greene Road, Baldwin, MD 21013.
